o The peer-review process will be closed.
o The submissions will be screened primarily by the Editor-in-chief and/or another assigned editor. And the selected manuscripts will undergo peer-review process.
o At least two independent reviewers expert in the field will review a submission.
o Some submissions, based on an initial evaluation will be sent to a statician.
o If in the first phase, two reviewers were in major disagreement, the manuscript will be sent to the third expert reviewer. The final decision will be made based on all three results and the editor's opinion.
o If the net result of the review process was clear, the Editor-in-chief will make the final decision and will contact the corresponding author. If there were some doubts or opacities regarding the final decision, the editor-in-chief will consult the expert bodies, preferably among the Editorial Board. In some extreme occasions the case will be discussed in a board meeting.
o Since the time of decision making is very critical for today's researchers, the journal will aim to shorten this period as much as possible, e.g. one month.
o If an author is unhappy with the decision, he/she will have the right to request a reconsideration process from Editor-in-chief. Editor-in-chief will take different steps depending on the case, even a new review process in extreme cases.
Any technical queries will be referred back to the author, although the Editors reserve the right to make alterations in the text without altering the technical content.
