Aims & Scope
The goal of this journal will be development of knowledge and skills of the scientific world about the broad field of controlled release, expansion of the capability of researchers, and establishment of interrelations worldwide. This journal will be interested to publish research articles, review articles, short communications and commentaries submitted by word-class research groups, describing their research activities in the general field of controlled release of drugs and other bioactive agents. The scope of the journal covers the basic science and engineering aspects of controlled release system related to the concept, design, preparation, characterization and evaluation of controlled release systems, in vitro and in vivo. Original research articles involving novel methods and findings and expert reviews in the field of drug delivery (both synthetic and natural), gene delivery, vaccine delivery, protein and peptide delivery are highly encouraged.
The major field of controlled release includes different aspects, mainly controlling both the time and place of in vivo release of drugs and other bioactive agents. In this way, drug delivery, gene delivery, vaccine delivery, etc. are the specific field in which researchers try to fulfill the therapeutic improvement objectives of the drug therapy scenarios.
